About Felicia My love for photography began long before I ever picked up a camera. My uncle always had one in his hand. He wasn't a professional photographer, but he had an incredible eye and documented everything — family, teammates, classmates, milestones, and everyday life.
He lived through the 60s and 70s, through moments in history that shaped lives and communities. He captured Afros, meetings, dashikis, black leather jackets, joy, struggle, and stories unfolding in real time. I admired the way he found beauty in everything — even in hard places, sad eyes, poverty, and the fight for equality.
He inspired me. Now I carry that love forward as the family historian, documenting a new story — mine and others.
